Italian fashion company Calzedonia opens two German stores

Savills has advised Italian fashion company Calzedonia SPA in the letting of 260 sqm of retail space in Limbecker Straße 47-49, Essen. The space is divided into two stores, of 100 sqm and 160 sqm, which the firm has taken for its labels Calzedonia (hosiery and beachwear) and Tezenis (underwear, beachwear and hosiery).  The Intimissimi (underwear) and Falconeri (knitwear) labels are also part of the Calzedonia Group.

Stephan Jung, Head of Retail consultancy at Savills Germany, says: “Calzedonia is another exciting addition to the retail mix in Essen, which is Germany’s ninth biggest city and continues to be a focus for national and international retailers who are mostly interested in prime locations.”

Both stores are scheduled to open before the end of March. Calzedonia SPA now has eight stores across Germany including the Essen branches.

The landlord, a Danish investment company, was advised by Savills.
