First International Launch of London Square Nine Elms in Singapore, Event Held By Savills International Residential Services

Prospective purchasers will get an exclusive opportunity at the first international launch of London Square Nine Elms, which will take place in Singapore, exclusively held by Savills Singapore, on 29th and 30th October at Four Seasons Hotel, Windows West room (Level 20), 11am to 6pm.

Leading residential developer London Square, renowned for creating some of the most striking upscale homes, is unveiling a new landmark in the centre of the capital at Nine Elms SW11 - the UK’s hottest new destination on the South Bank. The dazzling 23-storey, angular bronze panelled building will form the final flourish in the transformation of central London’s largest regeneration area, within walking distance of the Houses of Parliament, Battersea Power Station and London’s most stylish cultural and retail districts.

With a visionary design by globally acclaimed architects Allies and Morrison, an extraordinary six-sided building is taking shape, using folded planes of white concrete and tablets of rich bronze to create an elegant, soaring pavilion. London Square Nine Elms is destined to join the visual thread linking London’s skyline of world-renowned landmarks.
Standing opposite the US Embassy and overlooking a 14-acre park, London Square Nine Elms is set in landscaped gardens and will feature a collection of exquisitely designed private for sale studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments in a tower, with outstanding river views and sweeping panoramas across the capital.

Jo McDonagh, Group Sales and Marketing Director, London Square, said: “This is an opportunity to invest in a contemporary residential building that will take its place in the capital’s skyline, alongside the established architectural landmarks recognised all over the world. With the finest interiors, these apartments are in a class of their own and offer unrivalled elevated London living.

“They are set to become collectors’ items for discerning buyers who want to own a home in one of the most coveted addresses in London, with excellent connections to the West End, City and Canary Wharf and fast access to City, Heathrow and Gatwick airports. London Square Nine Elms also offers a first-class opportunity to investors looking to benefit from the shortage of high-quality rental homes in prime London.”

With the cachet and exclusivity of a luxe, five-star private members’ club, London Square Nine Elms will feature a 24-hour concierge, a stylish residents’ lobby and lounge with workspaces, elegant communal areas throughout the building, and courtyard gardens.

Each apartment is individually designed, with an outstanding specification and detailing, opulent contemporary interiors, light-filled open-plan living areas opening on to breathtaking private balcony vistas over the architecturally impressive US Embassy building, Nine Elms Park and with far-reaching views of the Thames from the higher levels of the building. Interiors will have a choice of ‘The Luminous Palette’ of stone and light oak cabinetry, with matt white detailing, or ‘The Allure Palette’ with dark hued oak, concrete and brushed brass ironmongery. Both palettes are accented by clever lighting, bringing depth and character to each room. Zoned underfloor heating and comfort cooling in living areas and main bedrooms will create a temperate living environment.

Parking spaces are available with electric charging points. There are also basement cycle spaces. Security includes CCTV for communal areas and video entry to the main entrance.

Reflecting the company ethos of being inspired by the capital’s beautiful squares, London Square Nine Elms stands in a green, landscaped setting within Nine Elms Park, with 14 acres of open space for walking and cycling and providing a green link between two of London’s historic parks, Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and the 200 acres of Battersea Park, with its riverside setting, woodlands, lake and excellent sports facilities.

The Nine Elms area covers 500 acres across two London boroughs, Lambeth and Wandsworth, on the South Bank of the Thames opposite Westminster. Its revitalisation has seen the arrival of the US Embassy, the transformation of Battersea
Power Station attracting global tech players such as Apple to base its UK campus there and the vibrant riverside village now thriving there, with over 250 shops, cafes and restaurants, all within walking distance of Nine Elms. World-leading architects, developers, planner and businesses have been the driving force behind the delivery of the Nine Elms mixed use district, on a site formerly owned by the Royal Mail, with London Square purchasing the final three phases of the regeneration area.

The recently opened stations at Nine Elms and Battersea are London’s first new tube stations in 25 years on the underground network, with 15-minute links to the West End and City. Other transport links include national rail, commuter riverboat services, bus and cycle networks. All these options offer fast routes to the City and Canary Wharf, theatres, museum, galleries such as Tate Britain, Tate Modern and the Saatchi Gallery, and premium shopping areas in Knightsbridge and Regent’s Street, with highly acclaimed and Michelin-starred restaurants and bars within easy reach.

London’s leading universities – Imperial, UCL, the LSE, King’s College London, and SOAS – are a short journey away, making Nine Elms the perfect base to live when studying for world-ranking undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.

Jacqueline Wong, Executive Director of Residential Services at Savills Singapore shares that, "London Square Nine Elms (LSNE) will be the final piece of the puzzle, completing and connecting the Nine Elms and Battersea areas. As the ‘latest’ kid on the block, LSNE stands to benefit from the completed infrastructure and amenities. Within close proximity are the Nine Elms & Battersea tube stations, linear park and the newly opened mall within Battersea Power Station. This presents a fantastic opportunity to own a Zone 1 property at an affordable price and still remain within minutes’ reach of green spaces and River Thames.”

According to exclusive data from Savills, prime London rents have seen an annual growth of 13.5 per cent in the past year to June 2022 – the result of a sharp increase in applicant numbers from overseas tenants, corporate relocations and students and a continuing supply and demand imbalance. Annual rents have increased by 16.3 per cent across Battersea, the strongest annual growth in a decade, with flats making a comeback. The five-year growth forecast is for 18.3 per cent. A lifestyle relocation is the biggest draw for renters, with 57 per cent making the move for that reason, across UK and international renters. More than 38 per cent of renters had moved to Nine Elms/Battersea from within Wandsworth and Lambeth.

The international launch of London Square Nine Elms takes place on the 29th and 30th October at The Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore. For more details, contact Savills Singapore at irs@savills.com.sg.
