Savills Singapore Strengthens Its Wealth Management Position With New Hire: Ruben Koh As Co-Head of International Residential Sales

Savills Singapore has reinforced its long-term goal and strategy in growing its share in the burgeoning international residential sales market with the addition of Ruben Koh as Senior Director, Co-Head to the International Residential Sales (IRS). He will join Adrian Lim who was recently appointed as the Head of IRS.

Savills’ IRS is placing itself strategically to leverage on the momentum of wealth generation to cater to both locals and the global community with an expanded and extensive inventory of overseas residences that spans from UK to Japan to Australia.

Ruben hailed from Crestbrick as the Key Executive Office (KEO). Having worked at HSR International Realtors, he eventually spent 10 years with Colliers International in the International Properties team focusing on London, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

He became the KEO of 1World Properties in 2018 before striking out to be a co-founder and KEO of CrestBrick.

Ruben has deep and comprehensive expertise and experience in investment instruments, particularly that of luxury and high-end real estate. Being an investor himself, he is able to understand his clients’ emotional journey, criteria and needs.

Both Ruben and Adrian had worked together for a number of years at Colliers in the same team before leaving on their separate journeys. And this marks the first time that they are back working in the same organisation.

Ruben Koh, Senior Director, Deputy Head of IRS: “The world economics is constantly changing and Savills is a brand that’s synonymous with luxury and is recognized in many cities. With their extensive reach globally, an intuitive understanding of the property market and a supportive community of management and staff, our investors will be able to feast on a more diverse spread of real estate around the world. And I’m excited to be working together with Adrian again.”

Marcus Loo, CEO, Savills Singapore: “Both Adrian and Ruben bring with them strong relationships with overseas developers in the residential market. Throughout their careers, they have helped countless of buyers and investors not just in Singapore but in the region as well navigate the ever-changing landscape of overseas property investment. Their clients will be able to leverage on Savills’ extensive and diverse portfolio of properties from UK to Australia as well as emerging interest for properties in Japan. I am thrilled with their combined experience and enterprising spirit that they will be working together again to expand our international residential business.
