Martin joined Savills in 2004, and is currently responsible for Valuation & Advisory Services throughout Asia. He specializes in cross-border corporate and institutional property portfolios.
Martin commenced his career in 1997 providing valuations in Queensland and New South Wales for loan security purposes. In 2004, Martin joined Savills Sydney as a Director, and was charged with establishing and expanding the International Corporate Portfolio valuation division. During this period, Martin acted on behalf of various global real estate owners, and provided advice in over 55 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Americas. In 2011, Martin specialised in the in the Sydney CBD office market, and was appointed to value some of Australia's largest buildings including No.1 Martin Place, Grosvenor Place and Angel Place. Martin was also a lead valuer on the $US5 billion Lend Lease Barangaroo office towers project. Appointed as the Regional Director of Valuation & Advisory for Asia in 2014, Martin is now based full-time in Singapore. He is an active member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) ASEAN Valuation Board, and regularly conducts presentations on International Valuation Standards and methodology.
