Ahmedabad city witnessed absorption of 2.6 mn sq. ft. of industrial and warehousing space in 2024 up from 1.7 mn sq. ft. in 2023. On the supply side, the city witnessed the completion of 3.3 mn sq. ft. in 2024, compared to 1.8 mn sq. ft. in 2023.The operational stock stood at 20.9 mn sq. ft. in 2024. The overall vacancy rate increased marginally to 12.1% in 2024 from 11.1% in 2023.
