We are looking for a candidate who can work more efficiently and independently in a remote, flexible or hybrid work environment. The work requirements are project-based and selected candidates may be required to work within short and stressful timelines.

Your job scope will include analysing financial data and identifying key trends behind the performance of a target business, analysis on economies and industries affecting the target business, discussing business performance, and forecast assumptions with our clients’ management team. This will include communicating to the clients on the findings and recommendations and assisting in performing valuation via written reports and physical/virtual meetings..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with valuation and financial due diligence engagements
  • Preparing data books for analysing financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management
  • Performing research on databases and publicly available sources to assist in valuation analyses
  • Assisting with the analysis of industry reports, discussion papers and management analyses
  • Assisting in benchmarking and valuation analyses
  • Developing financial models for valuation and management decisions
  • Preparing proposals to convert available leads

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or currently pursuing a CA Singapore / CPA Australia / CVA or other relevant professional certification(s)
  • Experience in auditing functions is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence in deriving insights from complex data
  • Excellent research and analysis skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively under time pressures where multiple tasks are required to be completed
  • Excellent communication skills to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Ability to work from home effectively and independently
